DELANEY Daniel (Dan), (Ballsbridge and formerly of St. Kevin's Park, Dartry) - February 12, 2013, (peacefully), after a long illness bravely borne with dignity in the tender care of the staff of St. Vincent's Private Hospital surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of Una, dear father of David, Catherine, Donal, and Paul, father-in-law to Anne, David, Sylvie and Susan and much loved granddad of Denise, Rebecca, Sadhbh, Katie, Hannah, Daniel, Conor and Isabel, will be also missed by his sister Mary, sisters-in-law Mary and Jovita and a wide circle of family and friends; he will be sadly missed by all. Removal tomorrow (Friday) evening to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Merrion Road (opposite St. Vincent's Hospital) arriving 5 o'clock Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10 o'clock followed by burial in Ardmayle Cemetery, Cashel, Co. Tipperary. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to St. Vincent's Foundation.
DELANEY Daniel, (Ballsbridge, Dublin, formerly of St Kevin's Park, Dartry) died February 12 2013. At this, the time of his First Anniversary, Dan's wife Una and his children David, Catherine, Donal and Paul would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all who supported and sympathised with them in their sad loss, sent Mass cards and letters of condolences. Likewise, to those who attended the removal, the Mass and those who travelled to Ardmayle for the burial. Thanks to the priests in Merrion Church and especially to Fr. Joe Egan and Fr. Martin Ryan who attended at the graveside. Our heartfelt thanks goes to the staff of the Hazel Ward in St. Vincent's Private Hospital for the tender and loving care given to Dan especially over the last few weeks of his life. A special word of thanks to Dr. Donald McCarthy and Dr. Charles Gallagher who looked after him so well for the last number of years. Please accept this Acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually. Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
