On her behalf we would like to thank everybody most sincerely for their lovely kindness and support at the time of her death. We were so grateful to everyone that travelled to Wicklow for her ceremonies. Thank you to Father Donal Byrne, O.Carm and Father Joseph Doran PP Brittas Bay who concelebrated Katriona’s funeral Mass so beautifully. We are enormously grateful to the Wicklow Choir who sang so magnificently and Madeline Doherty who played the harp. A very special word of thanks to Collette Delahunt who sang the ‘Ave Maria’ as a most splendid gift to Katriona. Thank you to the Piper Joe Hanlon who played outside the church and at the graveside. Huge thanks to Katriona’s grandson Niall who travelled home from Australia, her Granddaughters Anna and Mary-Jane (Fox) who travelled from France and London and her nieces Sabine, Ger, Mary and Anne who travelled from Wales, Scotland, Norway and Holland. We are so very grateful to the nurses and carers in Cedar House Mount Anville for their tender care of Katriona in her final years. Katriona is now at Peace in the beautiful cemetery at Three Mile Water with her beloved husband Conor (anniversary, December 31, 2008) and her dear son Conor Sylvester (anniversary February 15, 2011).
