MONAHAN, (Née Gray) (Summerville Nursing Home, Strandhill, Co. Sligo and formerly of Ashleigh Ballincar, Co. Sligo) - On September 30, Peacefully, in her 104th year, at Sligo University Hospital, Gladys, predeceased by her loving husband Tommy. Dear mother of Ray, Lorna Whelan, Mary O’Neill and Michael. She will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposed at The Foley and McGowan funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Monday morning, 4th October 2021. Funeral arrived to St. Columba’s Church, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo on Monday for Requiem mass at 12:00pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Due to current restrictions, Mrs. Monahan’s funeral was private for family only.
