SHANAHAN, Denis Joseph (late of Glasthule and Killiney Co. Dublin) - December 21, 2016, (peacefully), in his 91st year, in the meticulous care of the nurses and staff of Dalkey Lodge Nursing Home, beloved husband of Bernadette (née Layden), loving father of Eamonn and Ian; very sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, his brother Michael, extended family and friends. Reposing in Quinn's Funeral Home, Glasthule. Removal tomorrow (Friday) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin arriving 9.50am for 10.00am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. House private. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to St Vincent De Paul.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilís.
