WILSON, Richard, PhD, DSc, FICI, FRIC (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and late of Teagasc, NUIM and UCD) - In Beaumont Hospital, November 10, 2019. Dearly loved husband of Penny (née McGrail), much loved and devoted father of Iseult, Peter, Stephen, Aoife, Etain and Ultan, loving grandfather and great-grandfather. Predeceased by his dear son-in-law Paddy Johnston, brothers Ray and Francis and sister Mary Winifred. Richard is lovingly remembered by his wife, children, 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and by his sons-in-law Scott Grebe and John Cloonan, daughters-in-law OliveMary and Jane, his brother John, sisters Vivienne and Christina, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and by the extended Wilson and McGrail families. Richard has donated his body to medical science. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown at 11 am on Thursday, November 14. No flowers, please; donations to the Irish Heart Foundation if desired. Richard, beloved husband, father and brother, may you rest in peace.
