THORNTON, Lewis (Mount Merrion, Co Dublin) - May 12, 2016, (peacefully) after a long illness bravely borne and in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Our Lady's ward, St. Vincent's University Hospital Elm Pk. Devoted husband and best friend of Eva, much loved father of Alan and Shirley. Deeply missed and loved by his daughter-in-law Siobhan, grandsons Sean, Lewis, Conor and Donncha, extended family and friends. Funeral Service on Monday next (16thMay) at 11am in Monkstown Parish Church, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Monkstown Parish Restoration fund, C/O. Carnegies, Funeral Directors, Monkstown ."Sure and Steadfast"
