CONVILLE, Joan (née Savage), Kells, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Cork and Dublin. Peacefully, after an illness borne with dignity and courage in the compassionate care of staff at Marymount University Hospice, Cork on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Loving wife of the late Patrick Conville. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her children Gemma, Siobhan, Stephen and Nick, her adored grandchildren Alexandra, Ella, Charlie and Claudia, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers Jim and Cyril, her sister Patricia (Mulconry) sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by her sister Marie and brothers Niall and Michael. May Joan Rest in Peace. Cremation will take place on today (Saturday) in The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork at 1pm. (Eircode P43 DD71). Family Flowers only please, donations if desired to The Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society or Marymount University Hospice.
