Died 30th Dec 2009 - Ray's wife Siobhán and their sons, Paul, Sean and Raymo, together with his parents Paul and Ruth, his sisters, Alison and Gillian, his brother Stephen and sister-in-law Marion, nieces and nephew and all his extended family wish to express our sincere thanks and deepest gratitude to all who sympathised with us in our recent very sad loss. A special thanks to Ray's doctors and nurses in U.C.H.G. for all the care and kindness they showed him in his illness. Special thanks to Fr. Tony Neville, Fr. Peter Hughes and Rev. Denis Sandes who concelebrated Ray's funeral Mass. Thanks to Breda and her choir for singing so beautifully at the funeral Mass and to my niece Ellen who sang special songs for us in the Church and by Ray's graveside. Special Thanks to Renmore Army Barracks for showing their respect for Ray's 23 years of service with their guard of honour. We would like to express our thanks to Mannion Undertakers, Clifden, for their caring and professional manner, also to the grave diggers for preparing Ray's final resting place in Omey Island with such care. Thanks also to Sweeneys of Claddaghduff for providing refreshments, special thanks to Seamus, our friend and neighbour who has always been there for us and has given us great support and help throughout Ray's illness. As it's impossible to thank everyone individually our sincere thanks to all our family and friends that have supported us during this difficult time. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Month's Mind Mass in Star of The Sea Church, Claddaghduff, January 30 at 8pm.
