IRLAM, Peggy (Margaret) (née Mooney) (Redford Park, Greystones, Co. Wicklow, formerly New Eltham, South East London and Sandymount, Dublin 4) April 23, 2023, peacefully, surrounded by her family while in the compassionate and dedicated care of the wonderful staff at Our Lady’s Hospice Blackrock, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Thomas John and mother of the late Simon. Sadly missed by her devoted family, daughter Maria, Simon's partner Debbie, grandchildren Ricky, Sacha, Jamie and Tom, great-grandchildren Charlotte, Annabel, Olivia, Archie, Oliver and Tommy, sisters Sister Elizabeth H.C.J., Madeleine, Phil, and sisters-in-laws Pauline and Joan, brother-in-law Anthony, nieces, nephews especially Miriam and Denis, extended family, wonderful neighbours Breda, Paul and family, dear friend Tina, and wide circle of friends. Reposing at Mark Kinsella Funeral Home, Main Street, Newtownmountkennedy A63 X456 (opposite St. Joseph’s Church) on Monday evening (May 1) from 6.30pm until 7.30pm. Funeral Mass at 10.00am Tuesday (May 2) morning in The Holy Rosary Church, Greystones, after which Peggy will be laid to rest with her beloved John in Redford Cemetery. No flowers by request, Donations in memory of Peggy to Blackrock Hospice. John will be waiting for you with the door open, as he always did.
