JONES, Karl (Cabinteely, Dublin 18 and formerly of Park Drive, Ranelagh and late of Radio Éireann and the Irish Times) February 1, 2022. Peacefully, in his 89th year, at his home surrounded by his family. Husband of the late Cathy, Ethel and Maud, loving father of Marcus, Karl, Clifford, Conrad, Morgan, Alexandra, Alison and the late Caroline (Linda). Deeply regretted by his sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours, great many friends and his colleagues. A special mention of gratitude to Nurse Aideen O’ Brien and her Homefelt team who cared for him with such compassion in his final hours. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing this (Thursday) evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm in Fanagans Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94 XK28. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 11.00am in the Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood Avenue, Dublin 6 followed by Cremation at Mount Jerome.
