KILROY, James (“Knockaroo”, Ballymahon Road, Athlone), peacefully on March 24, 2021. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Agnes, and sisters Angela Mennis and Rose Johnson. Devoted husband of Maureen (née Conway), and wonderful father to Niamh, James, Emer and Treasa. He will be sadly missed by his wife and children, sons-in-law Liam, Tom and Barry, daughter-in-law Eleanor, his cherished grandchildren Hannah, Emily, Alice, Tom, Seamus, Paddy, Billy, Daniel, Isobel, James and Conor, his sisters Mary (Dublin), Ann (Canada), Margaret (Kildare) Betty (Dublin) his brother Thomas (Athlone) and his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In accordance with current Government guidelines and in the hope of keeping our friends and family safe, James’ Funeral will take place privately this (Friday) morning but can be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/athlonestmarys. Family flowers only, House private please. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
