PRENDERGAST, Deirdre (née McClean) (Clontarf, Dublin and formerly Tramore, Co Waterford) – Deirdre passed in the early hours of 16 December 2024 in the wonderful care of the Mater Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Stephen, cherished mother of Chloe and Stephanie and pre-deceased by her parents Noel and Marie McClean. She will be sadly missed by her family, brothers Denis and Brian, sisters Noelle and Ciara, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand tomorrow (Wednesday, 18 December) from 5pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass at 10am on Thursday (19 December) in St. Anthony’s Church, Clontarf. Funeral thereafter in Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please.

So terribly sad to hear of the passing of my old friend Deirdre. She was such a wonderful, kind and compassionate person who just loved life. Gone too soon. Sadly missed. Rest easy my friend x
