BARRETT John P (Blackrock Co. Dublin and formerly of Cork) - January 10, 2016. Peacefully, with family after a long illness borne with great courage and dignity in the wonderful care of the staff in the Cara Ward, St. Vincent's Private Hospital. He will be very deeply missed by his wife Nuala, his children Conor, Alan, Niamh, Brendan and Ronan, their partners Daragh, Aisling, and Della, his grandsons Adam, Sam, Max and Roddy, his brothers Brian and Donal (and the late Pat and his twin sister Nuala and brother Vincent) nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. May he Rest in Peace. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 10.00am at Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. No flowers please, donations to the Irish Cancer Society if wished.
