O'CONNOR Rory (Ballinteer) (First Anniversary) - Greatly missed by loving family and friends. Rory never wanted a mediocre life. He was always the great artist, whether in words, gestures or paint. Generosity of spirit defined him. There was never even a hint of meanness in him. He was an enthusiast of life and living, and it burst out in so many creative ways, following Aeneas, "I sing of arms and the man." Virgil and the Muses are now enriched by his noble presence in their midst. Yes, nobility of spirit was and remains Rory's abiding gift to us. Written in Rory's memory by life-long friend Brendan Butler.
