FITZGERALD, (née McNamara), Carmel, while in the wonderful care of all at Belmont House, Galloping Green, Dublin (late of Slí An Aifrinn, Athlone), (went to God peacefully), September 15, 2017. Predeceased by her beloved husband Christopher. Sadly missed by her family Mary, Geraldine, Michael, Eleanor, Christopher and Anne, sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Rest In Peace. Reposing at Rom Massey and Son's Funeral Home, Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, D4 (opposite UCD flyover) today (Saturday) from 2.00 - 5.00pm. Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, The Strand, Athlone tomorrow (Sunday) from 1.00 - 3.00pm. Requiem Mass on Monday in Our Lady's Queen of Peace Church, Coosan, Athlone at 12.00 noon followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery. Family flowers only. Please donations if desired in lieu to a local hospice.

FITZGERALD, Carmel, (Sli-an-Aifrinn, Athlone) - (First Anniversary) Mary, Geraldine, Michael, Eleanor, Christopher, Anne and their families would like to thank all her relatives, neighbours and friends who called, attended the removals and funeral, sent Mass Cards, letters and other messages of sympathy. We are thankful to the staff of Belmont Nursing Home where Carmel was so happy in the last few years of her life. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deep gratitude.
