FARRELL, Matthew Aloysius (Roundwood, Co. Wicklow and formerly Clonskeagh, Co. Dublin) - July 27, 2024. Peacefully, after an illness borne with great courage, surrounded by his loving family in the Blackrock Clinic. Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Bridget. Dearly beloved husband to Julie (née Reilly) and wonderful father to Matthew, Alexandra and Richard. Greatly missed by his son-in-law Cian, daughters-in-law Kaniah and Rosamai; grandchildren Luke, Liadan, Thomas, Max, Dan, Willow and Luna, his cherished siblings Mary, Geraldine, Bride, Faustina, Helen, Anne and Frank; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many great friends. Requiescat in Pace. Reposing this (Wednesday) evening from 5pm-7pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94 XK28. Funeral Ceremony tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon at 2.30pm in the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, D6W HY98. No flowers, please. Donations ,if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.
