ROCHE (Savoy Hotel, Limerick formerly of Rathkeale, Limerick), January 27, 2016 (suddenly at his residence). Michael, pre-deceased by his father Ned, brother John and sister Helena. Deeply regretted by his mother, Moira, son Tarka, brother Edward, sisters Hilary, Moira and Sandra, aunt Nora, Tarka's mum Saskia, brother-in-law Jermey, sister-in-law Esther, nephew Edward, nieces Emma and Nicole, cousins, relatives and his large circle of friends. R.I.P. Reposing at the family home Rathkeale this (Friday) evening at 5.00pm, with prayers at 8.00pm. Remains arriving to St. Mary's Church Rathkeale for 1.30pm Mass tomorrow (Saturday). Burial afterwards in the church grounds.

Limerick), First Anniversary, January 27, 2016 - As we lovingly remember Michael his mother Moira, son Tarka, sisters Moira, Sandra, Hilary, brother Edward and aunt Nora wish to express our sincere gratitude to the overwhelming numbers of people who have offered support, sympathy and kindness during this sad time. Thank you to the huge number of people who travelled from near and across the world to attend and participate in the ceremonies, sent Mass cards or flowers, offered their sympathies and shared stories in person and from afar. It was truly a great testament to the esteem in which Michael was held. The family would also like to express their gratitude to Ronan and Anne Branigan for all their help, support, organisation and wonderful hospitality they provided throughout the ceremonies. Thank you to the Gleeson and Smyth families for helping with the organisation and their support. To the clergy and Fr. William thank you for the beautiful Mass. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deepest gratitude to all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 28 at 3pm in St. Mary' s Church, Rathkeale, Co. Limerick.</p>

I was deeply saddened and shocked by the news of Michael passing. Michael was one of a kind, an amazing friend,loyal and generous. I will miss him dearly. My thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time. Sam Durlacher
