McGOVERN, (née Smyth), Josephine (Jo) (late of Sutton, Co. Dublin and formerly of Co. Mayo) - March 31, 2020 (peacefully) in the exceptional loving care of the Sisters and staff of Holy Family Residence, Little Sisters of the Poor, Roebuck Road, Dublin. Beloved wife of the late Philip, loving and much loved mother of Patrick and the late Dr Brian A (USA). Deeply regretted by her loving son, daughters-in-law Eileen (Dublin) and Dr Anne Jennings (USA), cherished grandchildren Stephanie, Richard, Nicola and Caitriona (and her husband Isdin) and Deirdre, her great granddaughter Keira, and her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends (especially in the Bridge Club, Howth Golf Club). In accordance with Government and HSE guidance, a private funeral will take place. Messages of condolence may be left on the Irish Times website. Requiescat in Pace.”
