DAVENPORT, Bernard (Florence, Italy) - June 11, 2018, peacefully after a short illness. Former Ambassador of Ireland to Argentina, then Switzerland and latterly to the Holy See. Beloved husband of Fiamma and much-loved father of Fionn, Giuliano and Fiammetta. Will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Max, Liam, Lauren, Sheena and Cara; by his children-in-law Joyce, Laura and Carlo; his nieces and nephews and all his extended family and friends. Funeral Mass on Friday, June 15 at 10.00am in the Basilica Santissima Annunziata, Florence.
