FitzGerald, Gerald (Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin) – September 2, 2021. Sadly, after a short stay at Blackrock Clinic surrounded by his loving family. Recently predeceased by his darling wife Mary. Loving and much-loved Dad of Desmond, Úna (O’Sullivan) and Derval (FitzGerald-Rolfe). His sister Mairead Maume, sons-in-law Gerard and Alex, daughter-in-law Jacky and his adored grandchildren Kevin, Eoin, Séamus, Éilís and Ciara, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. May He Rest in Peace Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion arriving for 10 am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Due to HSE and Government guidelines a private family funeral (50 persons) will take place. For those wishing to attend, but due to restrictions cannot, the Mass may be viewed live on Saturday, September 4, from 10 am via the Church webcam available at https://www.mountmerrionparish.ie/webcam/. Gerald’s committal may also be viewed live from 12.45 pm on Saturday, September 4, using the following link https://vimeo.com/event/139693.
