HALL, Michael / de Hál, Micheál (Galway and Dublin) First Anniversary. The wife and family of Michael Hall / Micheál de Hál wish to acknowledge the very many expressions of sympathy they received at the time of his death last year. We would like to thank our friends, neighbours and relations from all around the country and abroad for their thoughts and kindness. We would like to thank those who attended the removal and funeral services, sent letters and Mass cards, made phone calls and visits, and kept us company. A special word of mention to all of Micheál's friends of many years and to his former colleagues at Údarás na Gaeltachta. A sincere thank you to the Most Reverend Dr John Kirby, Bishop Emeritus of Clonfert, for celebrating the funeral Mass and to the priests at the Church of Guardian Angels, Blackrock, Co Dublin, especially to the Rev William Fortune, C.C. We owe a deep debt of gratitude to the Rev. Eugene O'Boyle and Dr Edward King on Achill Island and to Rory Sweeney of Achill Sound. Thank you also to Kirwan's in Fairview and Carnegie's in Monkstown for their kind assistance. Many thanks to our extended family, the Halls, the O'Hanlons, the Fees and beyond, for their prayers and, as always, for their support. Go raibh míle maith agaibh, gach duine, as an tacaíocht. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Michael is missed greatly but he has left a rich legacy of fond memories and great stories.
