KNOWLES Very Rev Dr Philip (Kingsgrove, Athy, Co. Kildare) - The family of the late Philip wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to them following their sad loss. His sister Heather, brother Herbert, twin brother David and good friends Con and Eileen Doyle offer heartfelt thanks to the many clergy and lay readers, friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited Philip, attended the services and burial and provided practical support at a difficult time. A special thank you to Timolin, Castledermot and Cashel for their hospitality following each of the services and to the Friends of Ballysax for their help with the Memorial Service. For those who sent floral arrangements, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful. A special word of thanks to Dr. Kelleher and the nurses in the oncology unit in Naas Hospital; the staff in Dunlavin Nursing Home and Tallaght Hospital; Philip's GP Dr. Brefni Reynolds and his staff and the staff of St. Brigid's Hospice, the Curragh, for their kindness and deep respect. To all the clergy who participated in the services, especially Archbishop Michael Jackson, Bishop Michael Burrows, Dean Tom Gordon, Archdeacon John Murray and Canon Neal O Raw; To the readers, organists, Brass Band and choirs - Castledermot Choir and In Cantorum from Athy - we would like to say thank you. To Thompson Funeral Directors from Athy, we would like to express our gratitude for their attention to detail and sensitive professionalism in handling the arrangements. To those who helped in any way, you made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
