SHIELDS, Breda (née Lonergan) (Sutton, Co. Dublin) - March 7, 2016, (peacefully), in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Francis Hospice, Raheny surrounded by her loving family; Breda will be very sadly missed by her loving husband Tom, children Geraldine (Courtney), Ciarán, Suzanne, Derville (Linehan), grandchildren Owen, Neil, Declan, Orla, Matthew and Noah, sons-in-law John, Billy and Gordon, daughter-in-law Polly, sisters Mary, Carmel, Peggy, Sadie and Kitty, extended family, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace. Removal this (Wednesday) morning to the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Baldoyle arriving for 11.00am Funeral Mass followed by burial in St. Fintan's Cemetery Sutton. SHIELDS Breda (Sutton, Dublin 13) (First Anniversary) - Dearly loved and sadly missed by her husband Tom, children Geraldine, Ciarán, Suzanne and Derville. We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all of our relatives, neighbours and friends who attended the funeral and for the letters, cards and messages of sympathy extended to us on our sad loss. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff who looked after Breda so well at Beaumont Hospital and St. Francis Hospice Raheny. It is not possible to thank everyone individually so please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude.
