REA (Cloughleafin, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork) - On August 31, 2011, peacefully, in the loving care of the matron and staff of the Mercy Hospital, Cork, John P. Beloved husband of the late Brigid (née O'Keeffe), loving father of Sheila (Möenne-Loccoz), Cathy (O'Sullivan), Bereniece (Riedewald), Marie (Ryan), John, Nina (Smith) Eamonn and Terence and dear brother of Jo Connery, Sr. Joseph (Nina) and the late Mary Rea, Amy (Bailey) and Sheila (Malone). Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Yvan, Martin, Frank, Tom and David, daughters-in-law Maura, Corrie and Julienne, brothers-in-law Fr. Gerard (Ned) O.P. and Billy, sisters-in-law Sr. Bereniece and Clare, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Requiescat in Pace. Reposing at O'Brien's Funeral Home, Mitchelstown today (Friday) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. followed by removal to Ballindangan Church. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 2 p.m. Burial afterwards in Brigown New Cemetery, Mitchelstown.
