O'NEILL - Dan June 4, 1927 - June 25, 2016 - It is 5 years since Dan left us to join his Dad, Mum, and 4 brothers in the hereafter. While we miss him every day, we celebrate and cherish his life, and are deeply grateful to have had him in ours.

Dan's wife Kate (Kathleen), daughters Ann-Marie and Catherine, son Donal, daughter-in-law Karen, son-in-law Rory, and grandchildren Alex and Daniel are so thankful to all our family (O'Neills, Morrisseys, Neales and Brennans), friends, and colleagues, for their kindness and support before, during, and after Dan's passing. We are immensely grateful to Dan’s friends and former colleagues, for the time you took to attend his funeral, send cards, relate stories and memories, all of which added even more colour to the rich tapestry of his life. Our belated, sincere and eternal thanks to the amazing team that helped Dan on his journey. Dr Juliette Sheridan and all the staff in St Lucy's SVUH for their heroic care. Fr. Conor Harper SJ and all at Donnybrook Church for the warmth of their support and the wonderful funeral ceremony. Rebecca Winkworth for raising the occasion to the heavenly, with her glorious voice, singing Dan's favourite hymns. To all at Fanagans for guiding us, and seamlessly organising all of the arrangements, done with care and humanity. As the world has changed so drastically over the last 5 years, Dan's colourful commentary and opinions have been imagined and enjoyed in his absence.

"O Holy God!"
