SMYTH (Arthur) Charles (Drogheda) - January 25, 2017 (peacefully) with great strength and dignity, in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Mater Private Hospital, surrounded by his adoring family. Charlie, beloved husband of Ann, dearly loved father of Gillian, Paul and David, treasured father-in-law to Karen, Ronan and Lizzie and loving "Pops" of Cathal, Peter, Kevin, Louis and Leo. Deeply mourned by his mother Sybil and siblings Cynthia and William. Much loved and missed by his treasured sisters-in-law Mary and Patricia, his cherished nieces, nephews and extended family. A private family Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Cemetery, followed by cremation and interment of ashes at Kilternan Cemetery Park. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Mater Myeloma Appeal at www.materfoundation.ie House strictly private.
