BYRNE - Kevin (Acknowledgement and First Anniversary) - As we lovingly remember Kevin on his First Anniversary, Kevin’s loving partner Jean, and all Kevin’s Family wish to express their deep gratitude to all who supported and sympathised with us on our sad loss. Thanks to all who attended the funeral and watched the funeral online and to all who sent mass cards and posted condolences on RIP.ie. It meant a lot to us. We extend our upmost thanks to Fr. Joe Kennedy both for his beautiful funeral mass and his guidance during this sad period and also to all the staff at Brian McIlroy Funeral home for their professionalism on the days leading up to and including Kevin’s Funeral. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses of the ICU department in St. James Hospital who looked after Kevin so well. A special word of thanks must go to the members of the Vintage and Classic car community who showed up on the day of the funeral in their beautiful vintage and classic cars, especially those members of both the Irish Veteran and Vintage Car Club and the MG Enthusiasts Club. We also appreciate the support we received from the retired members from the Society of The Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) and also the comfort we received from Kevin’s school friends from Synge Street. Kevin always enjoyed the days out with you all. We would like to thank Angela Cavey for being a special friend to Kevin. Our thoughts and prayers also go to Kevin’s good friends who are no longer with us, especially Declan O’Halloran and Paul Conran, we are sure all three of them are together again in the hands of God. We would finally like to thank our relatives, neighbours and friends whom it would be impossible to thank individually. The holy sacrifice of Mass has been offered for your intentions. Never more than a thought away. Loved and remembered every day. First Anniversary mass will be held on Wednesday May 25 at 9.00am in St. Agnes Church, Crumlin, Dublin 12.
