PATTERSON, Carmel (née O'Gorman) (Dublin and formerly of Abbeyleix, Co. Laois) - August 31, 2011, (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff of the Blackrock Hospice; loving wife of the late Eugene; very sadly missed by her loving daughter Sarah, sons Robert and Derek, son-in-law Aidan, grandchildren Laura, Matthew and Jack, sisters Sally and Buddy, brother Benny, sister-in-law Rita, brother-in-law Loughlin, nieces, nephews relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at her home today (Friday) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal tomorrow (Saturday) to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock for Funeral Mass at 10 o'clock Burial afterwards in Esker Cemetery, Lucan. Immediate family flowers only please. Donations if desired to The Blackrock Hospice.

Found this photo of my great-aunt and her school friends. The caption on the back says that the third girl from the left on the back row is Carmel O'Gorman. Photo taken in Abbeyleix. I think that the girls would all have been born in about 1935/1936.
