FITZPATRICK ("Rathanna", Drumelis, Cavan) - October 2, 2006, Thomas J. (Tom) (former Ceann Comhairle, Dail Eireann), in his 89th year (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff of College View Nursing Home, Cavan, dearly loved husband of Carmel and the late Betty, dearest father of Geraldine, Tom and the late Fidelma, beloved brother of John and adored Gran-Gran of Emma, Lucy, Caroline, Susan, Edward, Denis and Matthew. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing family, his daughter-in-law Katie, his sons-in-law Colm Madigan and Dermod Dwyer, his nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, all his relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at his home, from 2 o'clock today (Tuesday) until removal at 7.15 o'clock to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick and Felim, Cavan arriving at 8 o'clock Requiem Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12 Noon followed by burial in St Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry.
