CASSIDY, Peter J. (Foxrock and formerly Drumcondra, Dublin) –September 8, 2020 (Peacefully), after a short illness which he bore with great courage at home and latterly in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Vincent's Private Hospital; beloved husband of the late Joan (née Kenny); deeply regretted by his loving children, twin daughters Dorothy and Mary, son John, son-in-law Luke, daughter-in-law Edel and grandchildren Aoife, Siobhán, Ronan, Ellen and Sarah; he will be sadly missed by his sister, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and wide circle of friends. He was a true gentleman and the best father. He will be forever missed by his daughters and son. May he rest in peace. The Funeral Mass will take place in The Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, Dublin 18 at 11am on Friday (September 11). Due to ongoing Covid restrictions the church is strictly limited to 45 people. In lieu of attendance, the mass will be broadcast online via the Foxrock Church webcam at https://foxrockparishchallenges.com/home/webcam/ Burial will take place after mass in Shanganagh Cemetery. The route will be from the church down Beech Park Road, into South Park and onwards to Clonkeen Road and the N11. Family flowers only please.
