SHANLEY/FERGUSON, Caoilfhionn (Keelin), Dun Laoghaire and formerly RTÉ – February 8, 2020 (peacefully, in the last sunshine before the storm). Adored wife of Conor and devoted mother to Lucy and Ben, after a courageous battle with cancer, fought with the ingenuity, love and care of Dr Janice Walshe and her amazing team at St Vincent’s Private University Hospital; also the fantastic people at Blackrock Hospice. Pre-deceased by her beloved mother Orna Shanley (née McMahon). She will be hugely missed by her father Derry, her stepmother June, sisters Muireann, Emma, Niamh and brother Eoin, stepbrothers Rob and Will, mother-in-law Noeleen and the wider Ferguson family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and her many, many friends. Many thanks to RTÉ News & Current Affairs and the whole RTÉ family for their support and kindness. Reposing at home. House private. Celebration tomorrow (Wednesday 12th February) at St Paul’s Church, Glenageary at 12.15pm, and from there to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family Flowers only. Any donations to arccancersupport.ie
