BURTON, Derek (Curtlestown, Enniskerry, Co Wicklow) – December 21, 2023, at King’s College Hospital, London. Derek has taken his last walk around his forest in Barnamire. “Ahhh Pappy” won't be heard again. He has had a great life with no regrets and his legacy will live on. So raise a glass to DB to celebrate his life. There will be a gathering for family, friends and associates on Thursday (Jan.11) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray. A Service to Celebrate a Life Well Lived will take place on Friday (Jan.12) at Newlands Cross Crematorium at 1.30pm. No flowers please. BURTON - Derek - A year has passed since our much loved Derek left us. He has been and always will be deeply missed by all his family and many friends. Thank you to all have given support and shown us such kindness. Pappy will live on in his children and grandchildren who will miss his wisdom and the fun times they had with him.
