O'DONOVAN, (née Tennant) Sally (Howth) - March 10, 2024. Sally spent her 92 years in this world exuding kindness and love. She had a fantastic life with her late husband Fred, her children Fiona, Sally Ann, Penny and Freddie, her grandchildren Jack, Sarah, Katie and Anna, supported by Trish, Brian and Andrew and all her treasured family and friends, especially the first friend she made in Howth, over 65 years ago, Mary Sealy. Life was full of fun and laughter and although it became difficult with illness, she was cared for with so much kindness in Brabazon by Usha, Hugh, Susan and their team of wonderful carers. Sally’s wishes were for a simple farewell. Funeral Service in the Chapel at Dardistown Cemetery on Friday (March 15) at 1.30pm. Cheery coloured clothing would be appreciated. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Brabazon Trust as a thank you from Sally.

On the first anniversary of our very special mother, grandmother and loyal friend leaving this world, we remember Sally with immense love and so many happy memories of a wonderful life lived. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the funeral service, called to the house, sent cards, letters, condolence messages online and helped us with our sadness with so many acts of kindness. Sally's life was celebrated in the simple way she wanted, surrounded by her loving family, friends and relatives. We once again must thank Usha, Susan, Hugh and the nursing and caring teams in Brabazon for the love and respect they surrounded Sally with, and for always welcoming her loyal dog Poppy on visits. In expressing our appreciation to you all, we also remember Mum's beloved husband Fred, our dearly loved Dad who died on May 14, 2010. Both forever in our hearts. Fiona, Sally Ann, Penny, Freddie, her grandchildren Jack, Sarah, Katie and Anna, and Trish and Brian.
