MORRIS, Sr. Joan (Modesta) SSL (St Louis Convent, Rathmines and late of the Square, Market St., Clifden, Co Galway) May 12, 2020 (peacefully) in the tender loving care of the staff of Marlay Nursing Home, Rathfarnham in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Mary, brothers Desmond and Ivor, and sisters Margaret (Sr Ivor), Patsy, Nancy and Dorothy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her St Louis Sisters, her nephews, and nieces, relatives, and friends. Rest in Peace. Sr. Joan’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated today (Thursday) in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines, at 11.00am, restricted to family and community due to coronavirus. Burial afterwards, privately, at Kilmashogue Cemetery.
