CANNY, Sean, (Duncliff House, North Circular Road, Limerick and late of Beach Court Galway), June 6, 2016. In loving memory of Sean on his First Anniversary Cathy, John and David would like to acknowledge and thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and supported us then and during the past year. We would like to express our gratitude to all those who called to our home, attended the Funeral Mass and burial, who telephoned, sent Mass cards, letters of condolences, flowers, emails, texts and made charitable donations. Thank you to all our wonderful families, friends, neighbours and work colleagues for all your support throughout Sean's illness and particularly in the last year. Special thanks to Sinead Vine whose ingenuity enabled Sean to lead as full a life as possible. Thank you to all those who visited regularly and kept Sean up to date with his beloved Rugby and coffee sessions. We would like to thank Mr Eamon Rogers, Professor Macon Keane and Professor Frank Sullivan, University College Hospital, Galway and their teams who cared for Sean throughout his illness and left no stone unturned. Also the wonderful staff of the oncology day unit in the Galway clinic. Special thanks also to Dr. Miriam Callanan and Dr. Joe Lee whose constant care and support allowed us to care for Sean at home during his last year. Also to Dr. Marian Conroy and her amazing team in Milford Hospice for the wonderful care shown to Sean during his illness. To the home care team and the public health nurses who called regularly and supported us and especially our carer Jackie Ryan who unfailingly brought a smile to all our faces. Thank you to Fr. David Casey and Fr. Peter Waldron for celebrating Requiem Mass and supporting us through our sad loss. Thank you also to the Garryowen Rugby Football Club and the Golden Vale Gundog Club with their dogs for their guard of honour on the day. As it would be impossible to personally thank everyone, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted with our most sincere gratitude. Your kindness and support will always be remembered and appreciated. Mass has been offered for your intentions. Sean was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He will be in our hearts forever.
