WREN Laurence (former Gárda Commissioner) late of Castleknock and Abbeyfeale, who passed away peacefully at home on March 10, 2016. His wife Maureen, daughters Mary and Anne, sons-in-law Joe and Paddy and grandchildren, Jennifer, Tom, Richard, Mike and Ben would like to express their sincere gratitude, for the love and support shown to them, on their recent sad bereavement. We wish to extend our appreciation to those closest to us, our family, our neighbours and our friends whose support is still continuing. We thank all those who called to the house and attended the funeral Mass, particularly those who travelled long distances. Thank you too, to all those who telephoned, sent flowers, cards and letters of sympathy. We are very grateful to the many carers who supported Larry with great respect and kindness over the last number of years. Our thanks to the Commissioner and all members of An Gárda Siochána, both serving and retired, who supported us and especially to the members of the Colour Party and Honour Guard. We thank the all the clergy who participated in the concelebration of the Mass, and in particular, Fr. Dan Joe O'Mahony. Our sincere thanks to, Kirwan's Funeral Directors, for their professionalism and sensitivity. As it is impossible to thank everyone in person, we trust that this Acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
