HOGAN - Lorraine (née Whelan) – Taylor’s Cross, Banagher, Co. Offaly R42Y102. On this First Anniversary of Lorraine’s death, I would like on behalf of myself; Brian, our sons Shane and Hugh, and Lorraine’s sister Alex Davitt (Rye, NY) to sincerely acknowledge the love and support of family and friends both during Lorraine’s terminal illness and in the difficult time since. To the staff in the Oncology department in Tullamore Hospital and Banagher Family Practice for unwavering kindness and professionalism throughout. To our many neighbours and friends who were denied a funeral service during lockdowns, your ongoing support and affection is deeply appreciated, and to Fr Michael Shiel SJ for providing a beautiful and memorable private service. To Lorraine, for her love and commitment to family, her warmth and friendliness to all, her acceptance of her illness and the peace she found within, our love, respect and thanks will be forever yours.

Thinking of you all and my sister Joan. This reminded me of the two of them. How we will laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again. Rest In Peace beautiful Lorraine Ann xx
