My sympathies to Sahra, Emmet and James. I played tennis with Eugene in Donnybrook and he was congenial and fun and very proud of you. Nicky Tyson

My memory of Eugene in the crazy days that were the early Ryanair was of an enigmatic, charismatic leader. He was a lovely man. May he rest in peace and sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I knew him at Castleknock and he was one of the nicest guys in the class. He had no enemies there and was very well liked. He is a sad loss. Frank Hynes
