LANE, Patrick (Paddy), (late of Templeogue, Dublin and formerly 17 Coburg Street, Cork City), (Retired Commandant, 4th Motor Squadron, Plunkett Barracks, Curragh, ex-Congo and Cyprus Peacekeeper), Patrick (Paddy), January 14, (peacefully) in the loving care of St. Gladys nursing home. Predeceased by his wife Patricia (Paddy). Beloved and much loved father of Nikki, Holly, Rossa and Barra. Deeply missed by his family, 9 beloved grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, relatives and many friends. Paddy’s body was donated to Trinity College in aid of medical research, as was his wish. An informal gathering of family and friends to celebrate Paddy’s life will be held on Saturday, February 3 in Darcy McGee’s, Spawell Complex, Templeogue, from 2pm to 4pm. All who had a connection to Paddy are welcome to join the family.
