<p>BROWN (Dublin and Cork) - January 28, 2011, (peacefully) at the Cork University Hospital, Gwen (nee Barrett), much loved and adored mother of Randal and Sheelin. Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Dieter Spoerri, daughter-in-law Winnie, granddaughters Jasmin and Andrea, relatives and friends. Gathering of family and friends on Thursday next between 7.30pm and 8.30pm at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road, of Jerh O'Connor Ltd. Committal Service will take place at 12 noon on Friday at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the D.S.P.C.A. or the R.N.L.I.</p>

Its been a while since we talked, my mother also passed away this year on February 28th so I know exactly how you feel. I'm also going through a divorce at the same time (twice now).
