ONEILL - Derry (Shankill, Co. Dublin and Duncannon, Co. Wexford) died March 14, 2025. On the first anniversary of his death, we wish to express heartfelt thanks to all who supported Derry and our family during his illness and since his passing. A special thank you to Dr. Rozana Rahman and all the team on the Oncology Ward in the Beacon Hospital for their exceptional care and kindness. Thank you to Joanne Cooney of Cooneys Funeral Home in New Ross for supporting us in arranging the Funeral and to Fr. John Carroll at St. Alphonsus Church, Barntown in Wexford, who helped us make his Funeral Mass a true celebration of Derrys life. Thank you to all who attended. We appreciated the many cards, calls, and kind words we received and the messages on RIP.ie, particularly the comments from his friends and colleagues in Bank of Ireland who gave us a wonderful insight into the regard and affection in which they held him. Thanks also to all who donated to the Oesophageal Cancer Fund on his behalf. Always remembered with love by his wife Julie, daughter Claire, son Shane, son-in-law Mike, daughter-in-law Shan, his beloved grandchildren Dermot, Conan, Caitlyn and Cillian and his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

We treasure the memories.

Loved to the moon and back.
