Sincere condolences

I knew Danny in the 1980s when I came to UCD and have stayed in touch since. Deeply moved to hear of his passing. Very fond memories of what was then Anach Cuin, canoeing off Donegal and Danny's friendship down the years. A great teacher, sincere but not dogmatic in his faith, he served Gonzaga superbly. My sympathies to Brid, Aine and Niall. RIP Danny - love Lance

Sorely missed, especially for his great wit and storytelling ability; great man of faith, to whom I owe a lot
