McCARTHY - Ted (Thaddeus) (Breanor House, Cullinagh, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick and Ballyard House, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formally of AIB, Newcastle West). On May 26, 2025, peacefully, under the wonderful care of the staff in UHL, dearly loved husband of Breda and wonderful father to Barbara, Kathryn, Eunice, Helen and Valerie, dear brother of Eunice and of the late Noreen, Sean and Ena and cousin to Pauline and Frances. Sadly missed by his dearly loved wife, children, grandchildren; Katherine, Tom, Joan, Alice, Sarah, James, Valerie Saoirse, Michael, Alison, Jeremiah, Julianne and Patrick, sons-in-law; Colm, Nick, Podge, Pat and Pete, brother-in-law Liam, sister-in-law Brid, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Ted will be reposing at the family home (Eircode V42 FX03) Tuesday and Wednesday (May 27 and 28); arriving on Thursday morning (May 29) to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in Old Rath Cemetery, Tralee, Co. Kerry.
