GAFFNEY, Austin (Ballinaclash, Co. Wicklow and formerly Foxrock, D.18) - February 14, 2019, (peacefully), in his 90th year, at the Blackrock Clinic. Much loved husband of Susan and the late Agnes. Sadly missed by his wife, daughters Irene, Anne and Una, sons Paul and Colm, sons-in-law Aidan, Mark and Derek, daughters-in-law Jane and Yvonne, grandchildren Adam, Greg, Luke, Eoin and Ella, sisters Bernie (Hopper) and Monica (Smith), extended family, relatives and many friends. May he rest in peace. Funeral Mass this (Saturday) morning at 10am in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock followed by Cremation in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, D.6w. Family flowers only please. All enquires to Carnegies Funeral Directors, Monkstown. Ph: 01 2808882.

On the First Anniversary of Austin's death, he is lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, his family and friends, and by his colleagues from a lifetime in the world of music. We would like to especially thank those who sent letters and messages of sympathy and support. We remember Austin on St. Valentine's Day, the day he departed this life.
