Did he dare disturb the universe?
Somehow you just seemed to be clued into a different plane of awareness Damo, that gave you stiletto insight into the Way Things Are. You didn't reveal that sixth sense often - not without its dark side for you. But sometimes you couldn't help the occasional observation and that wit and effortless truth made you impossibly intriguing as well as incredibly funny. I guess you drew it all down.... we are blessed to have some of that whimsy and eloquence captured - and even, at times, you built it. At least there's a legacy there - your footprint otherwise so light - You have bewildered me again this time, Damo...... Deferential, glad to be of use, Politic, cautious, and meticulous; .... The world has lost a truly unique, gentle, intrepid explorer. we are sad to see you go ahead without us
