JONES, Breeda, died peacefully in the Beacon Hospital on April 28th, 2025, after a short illness. Predeceased by her husband Gerry Jones, her siblings Maura, Tim, Lar and Paddy, and her son-in-law David. She will be deeply missed by her children Gerard, Catherine, Anne and Conor, and was the most wonderful and much-loved Granny Bee to her grandchildren and step grandchildren Christopher, Sophie, Annaliese, Anna, Nadia, Ellen, Grace, Gerard, Laura, Brian, Shane and Emily. She will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Sheila and Gay, her son-in-law Paddy, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours, and all who loved her. Reposing in Quinns, Glasthule from 16:00 to 18:00 tomorrow (Thursday 1st). Removal to St Joseph’s Church, Glasthule on Friday (2nd May) arriving to the church at 09:50 for Funeral Mass at 10:00, followed by a short memorial service and cremation at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross at 13:45. Family flowers only and donations, if desired, to Our Lady’s Hospice.
JONES - Breeda (First Anniversary) The Jones family remember Breeda Jones today on her first anniversary. She is sadly missed by her children Gerard, Catherine, Anne and Conor, her grandchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, circle of friends and all who loved her.
Breeda Jones was an extraordinary person. She was an incredible mother, a fantastic grandmother and a great friend. She was feisty, independent, never shy to voice an opinion while being a loyal, decent and honest person with enormous integrity. We miss her and hold wonderful memories of her in our hearts.
