COTTER - Mary (née Mc Carthy, formerly of Cappamore, Co. Limerick), (Clontarf, Dublin, March 29, 2020). On this First Anniversary of Mam’s death, Sr. Elizabeth IBVM, John, Gerry, Monica, Finbarr, Denis, Sheila, Yvonne and their families, sincerely thank all who supported us during Mam’s final illness and death. Your calls, cards, emails, texts and messages were greatly appreciated. Although Covid restrictions prevented us from celebrating Mam’s life with you in person, we remain deeply grateful for the wonders of technology which enabled you to accompany us on the Internet. Our sincere gratitude to our relatives, friends and co-workers, to the Staff of St. Brigid’s Ward in the Mater Private Hospital for their care and expertise, to Mam’s doctors, to Nuala and all of her Carers and to her neighbours and friends who formed a “guard of honour” along “the Avenue” as Mam’s funeral cortège passed by. A special word of gratitude to Fr. Pat Mc Manus who tended Mam so faithfully over the years, to Fr. Gareth Byrne for the wonderful Funeral Liturgy in St. Gabriel’s Parish Church and to Lanigan’s Funeral Services for their excellent care. Mass will be offered for your intentions. Mam’s First Anniversary Mass will be available on the internet at: stgabrielsparish.ie on Sunday March 28, at 6pm. May Mam rest in peace with Dad Liam, son Liam and son-in-law Tony Eustace.
