MCKEEVER - On the first anniversary of Siobhán’s death, Gráinne, Úna, Brían and Rónan wish to thank all who offered support during her illness and sympathy when she died. The love and care given to Siobhán by her great friends and close neighbours will never be forgotten. We are very grateful for the messages of sympathy, Mass cards, flowers, so many kindnesses, all of which have helped us to deal with the loss of our baby sister. A special word of thanks to the Rehabilitation Unit in Louth County Hospital, The Dóchas Centre, North Louth Hospice, Dr. Sara O’Brien, Public Health Nurse Sinéad Reilly and all of Siobhán’s carers. We are forever thankful to Rosemary Rogers of McGeoughs Funeral Directors who organised Siobhán’s funeral with great sensitivity and professionalism during the very challenging lockdown. We want to acknowledge everyone who walked the road with us from the crossroads to the church and those who travelled long distances to stand outside in the rain during her funeral Mass. Special thanks to Fr. Vinod for his kindness to Siobhán, for a beautiful Funeral Mass and to the parish choir whose music helped us greatly to get through that very difficult day. Siobhán’s First Anniversary Mass will be at 11am in St. Brigids Church, Kilcurry on Sunday, November 7.

Just heard of Siobhan's passing in 2020, 4 years on from her untimely death, R.I.P. Went to St.Annes College, Sion Hill, in 1975. We had great fun that year as after Leaving Cert. Remember her with fond memories. May she rest in peace forever.
