MACKELL, Ian (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Dundalk, Co. Louth) October 6th., 2024 peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved husband of Ann née Colllins and dear father of Barbara (Musgrave) and Helen (Battersby) and a devoted grandfather of Charlie, Thomas, Alan and Zoe. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Philip and Noel, brothers Paul, Andrew and Simon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren and a large circle of friends. May Ian rest in peace. Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home Lucan this (Wednesday) evening (October 9th) between 5 pm and 7 pm. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning (October 10th) to the church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 am followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium. Family flowers only, please, donations if desired to St. Vincent de Paul.
