MELLON - Pat (Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin), who passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Anne, sisters Myra and Dolores, and his brothers Tommy and Dessie. Beloved husband and best friend of Maeve for 65 wonderful years, and devoted and adored father of David, Niall, Fiona, Raymond and Aisling. Cherished grandad to his seventeen grandchildren and great-grandad to Ivy. He will be deeply missed and remembered always by his loving family, his daughters-in-law Elizabeth, Lorraine and Nicola, his son-in-law Padraic, his sisters Nancy and Irene, his brother John, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, wonderful friends and neighbours. Reposing in Peter Massey Funerals, The Ruah Centre, Ballyroan (D14 T0C8) on Monday (May 25) from 4pm - 6pm. Funeral mass on Tuesday, at 10am, in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan (D14 KP60) followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium (D6W HY98) at 1pm. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and all staff in the Ruttle Ward, Tallaght Hospital and Millbrook Manor Nursing Home for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Pat during his time with them.
